Excellus BlueCross BlueShield Unveils New CNY Liverpool Resource Center

Excellus BlueCross BlueShield proudly unveiled its new CNY Liverpool Resource Center, a welcoming space designed to provide personalized, in-person support for individuals and families navigating their health insurance options.

Located at 7421 Oswego Road, Unit O-5, the center is now open to the public Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. It offers a range of services to help community members understand and enroll in health coverage that fits their needs.

Retail Sales Consultants are available to assist individuals with enrolling in a variety of health insurance options, including Medicare Advantage Plans, Medicare Supplement Plans, and Prescription Drug Plans. They also provide support for those seeking individual and family coverage both on and off the NY State of Health Marketplace, including Qualified Health Plans, the Essential Plan, Child Health Plus, and Medicaid Managed Care.

In addition, Customer Care Advocates are onsite to support members with questions related to claims, billing, benefits, and more.

“As a local, nonprofit health plan, we’re committed to being present in the communities we serve,” said Mark Muthumbi, Central New York and Southern Tier Regional President at Excellus BCBS. “This new center gives our neighbors a place where they can sit down face-to-face with someone who understands their needs and can help them navigate their health coverage options.”

The opening of the Liverpool Resource Center reflects Excellus BCBS’ ongoing commitment to improving access to care and supporting the health and well-being of Central New York residents.
