Starting now through the end of the year, Excellus BlueCross BlueShield is posting about 60 college internships for Summer 2022 for college students at its locations in upstate New York.
Summer internship positions currently available include jobs in Actuarial, Administration, Analytics, Clinical, Customer Operations, Project Management, Information Technology, Communications, Legal, and Sales.
Internships are available at Health Plan locations in Rochester, Buffalo, Syracuse, and Utica. In total, there will be about 60 internship opportunities available.
“Our College Internship Program is a strategic recruitment tool focused on personally and professionally developing undergraduate and graduate students with the transferrable skills needed for full-time employment opportunities,” said Jason Helsdon, director of Talent Acquisition.
The 10-week paid internships will run from June-August 2022. To qualify for an internship, students must be actively enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program at the time of the internship.
The program's goals are to:
- Provide professional career development opportunities for students, helping them gain hands-on work experience and jump-starting their careers
- Help the Company attract and retain the best talent while developing them as qualified applicants for future job openings, here and elsewhere, through training, networking opportunities and meaningful work experiences
- Support interns with training, resources and network to spark passion and excellence within the workplace.
